These artworks were created when I was in a meditative state, through a very concise and arduous process. Pieces of coloured tissue paper were carefully selected to create the colours of the background of these tile paintings. The tissue is then glued to a wooden frame and sealed, so that it does not tear. Each unique design is then created using a selection of white, black and gold acrylic paint markers which follow the natural shapes and lines created by the way the tissue paper was applied.
