I enjoy creating art through traditional methods such as mixed media collage and watercolour painting but can't deny that I love the convenience and immediacy that digital painting and illustrating offer.

Mixed Media Collage
After I created several small mixed media tiles on wooden canvas which are for sale here. I continued to experiment with the process of using wood, tissue paper, mulberry paper, gold leaf, acrylic paint and markers to create bigger works of art. I love the way that these are created completely intuitively so I never know who or what is going to emerge. My largest piece is called 'Majesty' and features a beautiful guardian angel.
Cultural Fusion Patterns
I took my mixed media collages and digitised them. I then played around with them and patterns started to emerge. Some of them felt quite African but in others I could see stained glass cathedral windows as well as Victorian machinery.
