ABOUT ME
I have been an artist since I can remember. I'm sure it was a little frustrating for my parents when I drew on the walls or melted wax crayons on radiators in order to watch the pretty colours merge together!

Art has seen me through good times and provided an outlet in bad times. To say I find it therapeutic is an understatement. My soul needs to do this. All of my art is created intuitively and holds a lot of positive energy.
I had the privilege of spending my formative years in two countries which were polar opposites: South Africa and Norway. I learned to observe both the cultural and visual differences in the local art and design. I feel deeply connected to all forms of ancient tribal art from the Ndebele people of South Africa through to the Vikings.
Having spent most of my adult life in England, as well as a lot of time in both the United States and Canada, my fusion of cultural styles and iconography has become even more complex. I particularly love the art found in the South Western states of America and Mexico. There is still a lot of world for me to explore and I hope that each new place will influence and inspire my art in some way, shape or form.

I love to coach people on how to use art as therapy in order to make positive changes in their lives. Having spent many years in the corporate world, I have personally found that I needed these tools to decompress and find my joy.

If I'm not in my studio, you will find me in my garden, or on a trip to discover somewhere new. I am also a qualified Metatron Colour Therapist, a specialist modality which uses a selection of aromatherapy sprays and colour to heal and rebalance.

Please get in touch if you would like to know more about anything I do. If you would like to license any of my images or request a commission. I'm also keen to collaborate with other artists and be part of any art events by teaching, demonstrating or exhibiting, especially in the UK.
